foer started researching this book when he discovered he was going to be a father and was faced with making choices for another living being. he interviews several people from all angles concerning the eating of animals. what starts out as a look into our nation and our eating habits turns into the ugly realization of what human beings are truly capable of. it is a must read for anyone who feels a moral obligation to any living thing.
